Eight Hand Made Watercolour Paints

The creation of these paints came about during my MA research, combining nature and creativity, which both have positive benefits on our well being.

This is a set of 8 hand made watercolour paints. 

4 are plant based paints using the laking process.

4 are stone based paints where stones are ground by hand.

Although these are primarily used as watercolours, there are some differences, such as mixing colours does noot neessarily give the colour you would expect as the chemicals in each plant react with each other, they may even react with the paper you are using, depending on the acidity of your canvas.

This does not make them a lesser paint, it makes them exciting, an exploration into the world of flowers and berries.
